저는 영국 사람이에요

jeoneun yeongguk salam-ieyo

I'm English

No matter how good your pronunciation is, most people in Korea will know you're not a native speaker. As such, this is one of the first questions someone new you meet will ask you. You can answer this simply with the country you're from – 저는 영국에서 왔어요 (I'm from England). But you can also answer by using the nationality form 저는 영국 사람이에요 (I'm English).

저는 …에서 왔어요.

Jeoneun …e-seo wasseoyo.

I’m from… [country]

저는 영국에서 왔어요

Jeoneun yeongguk-e-seo wasseoyo.

I’m from England.

Thats it for this lesson.
