Imagine you are on a flight from America to China. It’s a long way, so make sure you know how to ask for a drink or an extra blanket in case you are cold. It’s also important to know what “我需要 wǒ xūyào” means. Repeat the new words aloud to practice your pronunciation.

我需要一杯水。

Wǒ xūyào yībēi shuǐ。

I would like to have a glass of water.

我怕飞行。

Wǒ pà fēixíng。

I’m scared of flying.

我饿了。

Wǒ è le。

I’m hungry.

我觉得冷,你有毯子吗?

Wǒ juéde lěng,nǐ yǒu tǎnzi ma?

I’m cold, do you have a blanket?
